This online evening event will focus on the importance of the Sangha on our spiritual path as a great support to our spiritual liberation. In this class we will explore why the Buddha emphasized the importance of taking refuge in the beloved community.

We will discuss the ways that communities can either awaken together or perpetuate the unconscious cycles of greed, hatred, and delusion. Spring will concretize this teaching through the content of her newest book, The Spirit of Harriet Tubman: Awakening from the Underground, and her experience through years of leading the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, Ca.
