At a very young age, I remember having a deep sense of sorrow and curiosity about why people suffer.
I was born poor and in a neighborhood filled with police brutality, gang violence, and parents who had their own struggles. As a teenager, I experienced a lot of trauma, regularly witnessing the impacts of poverty, violence, and death.
All the while, I had a need, a longing to understand the nature of the mind and human emotions. So, it wasn’t surprising that I found my way to spirituality and meditation in my teens.
I still remember the moment I learned you could heal your life and transform your reality using your thoughts and intentions.
After being gifted a book called Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda, I began to understand my path toward meditation. Little did I know it would lead me down a road to guiding thousands of people wishing to experience their own healing journeys.
I’m so glad you’re here.
